Felix Müller - ... everything that's holy to me ...

„Holy Entities“ are announced to be presented by Felix Müller at his third solo show. The Berlin based artist exhibits his work for the first time at the new gallery, and beyond that even incorporates the space itself as an image carrier, as he leaves his foil-figurines to populate the immediate wall-space. The spectator, once again, is bound to be carried away to an eerie yet beautifully enchanted world repleted with contradictions. With his new image series (series of paintings) the artist grapples with the term ‘holiness’, challenges aspects of awe and promise. For instance, bunny-rabbits emerge, (which in cultural history not only serve as the symbol of fertility but also that of original sin,) a teddy bear hanging himself, a skull with pony tails smirks mischievously. His cosmos of images tells just as much the tale of the catastrophes of interpersonal relationships, as well as that of those fortunate scenarios of encounter and communication ...
